Learner, editor and admin roles. A voucher system activates whole workforces through a company admin dashboard.

Two developments meet right now. Since February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires staff to have sufficient AI competence. From August 2026 the market surveillance authorities monitor this actively. At the same time, the German state subsidises digital training more strongly than it has in years. For companies that means AI training is no longer optional, and it does not have to be expensive.
This is where your own academy comes in. Off-the-shelf courses rarely fit your team, your tools and your industry exactly. Our platform is therefore modular. You combine ready-made modules such as prompting, AI video, GEO, Art. 4 and Art. 50 or AI in controlling, and on request we build your own modules for your field. A generic employee training becomes a course that fits you and that you document for the Art. 4 proof.
Running your own academy as a training platform for the company covers more than AI. Onboarding, mandatory training, product and customer training run through the same learning platform, in your brand and on your servers.
Qualifizierungschancengesetz
Under § 82 SGB III the employment agency covers part of the course cost for employees, staggered by company size from 25 up to 100 percent, plus a wage subsidy. Digital change and AI explicitly count.
Qualifizierungsgeld
For companies in structural change, the federal agency pays 60 percent of net pay, 67 with a child, while staff are requalified instead of let go.
Educational leave
In most German federal states employees are entitled to several days of paid educational leave per year. Course content can be aligned to it.
Whether a specific measure is eligible for funding depends on provider accreditation (AZAV) and the decision of the employment agency. We support with structure and record documentation. The funding decision is made by the authority. AI Pirates does not provide legal or funding advice.

What does a learning platform for companies cost?
The price depends on the hosting model, the number of users and the content scope. There is a one-time setup for branding and deployment and running costs for managed hosting or an on-prem license. Unlike standard SaaS, you do not pay a rising per-seat price. In an intro call we clarify scope and budget with no strings attached.
Is the training platform GDPR-compliant?
Yes. You choose between hosting on German servers under our managed operation or on-premises in your own infrastructure. Either way, no US cloud, with a data processing agreement, audit log and data export under Art. 15 and 20.
When does the AI literacy duty apply?
Article 4 EU AI Act applies since February 2025 and requires every company that uses AI to ensure sufficient AI competence among staff. From August 2026 the market surveillance authorities monitor compliance. An exam plus certificate from our academy document that proof. More on the literacy duty.
Can we load our own courses and customize the platform?
Yes. The modules are customizable. You combine ready-made courses or we build your own for your field. Logo, colors, domain and copy run in your corporate identity, so to your employees it is your academy.
